The staff were incredibly friendly, the room was beautiful, and the restaurant and location were outstanding. Truly a 10/10 experience. I even found myself wanting to buy everything in the room because of how stylish and well put together it was. Special mention to the gentleman at reception he had amazing insight about Manchester, was so down to earth and friendly, and genuinely made the stay feel even warmer. I wish I had taken his name, but he was the one with the tied-up fro. Best hospitality, mate I hope you go far in life!

Stylish characterful hotel situated within a short walk to the station and walkable or a short tram ride to the city centre. The bedroom was light & airy with a large comfortable bed & great pillows. A fully tiled en-suite bathroom with an excellent large walk in shower and toiletries. The brasserie doubled up as a breakfast room & a bar in the evening.

Lovely welcoming desk staff who were all happy to help. Checked in earlier at no extra cost. Like the mix of original warehouse features with the new. New well decorated modern bathroom. Clean room with most things needed. Very large comfortable bed (bed a bit low). Excellent location, toiletries, shower and breakfast. Good value 2 night stay.

The location and building were fabulous just a short walk from the railway station, very easy to find. Room was a decent six and the bed was huge!

The location is perfect - just a walking distance to the train station and shopping centre surrounded by many food places. Also a walking distance to the event, so we didn’t spend a penny on transport which I imagine would’ve been pricey otherwise. Normally used to modern hotels but this hotel is beautiful and we loved the historical look to it with the big stairs, high ceilings and stunning chandeliers. Regarding the room itself, spacious for 2 people, comfortable and big enough bed, big blackout curtains, Dyson air cooler (this was in particular very handy as couldn’t open the window) and the bathroom was beautiful, clean and big.

The room was very comfortable, particularly the bed. The bathroom was quite small, but very adequate, with a good shower. The breakfast is one of the best I've had, with very good fresh orange juice, very nice coffee, and a superb full English. The sourdough toast was very good. The location is excellent, being very close to Piccadilly train station. It's no more than a couple of minutes walk. The staff were all friendly and very efficient at check in. The main reception area is very comfortable (I waited there while my wife went shopping for an hour)

The building is so wonderful and the rooms are decorated really retro which is totally up my street . Me and my boyfriend have stayed here twice now and never want to stay anywhere else other than here . The staff and lovely and really helpful . We had that much of a good stay I begged my boyfriend to stay another night and we did , I really reccomend this place ! The location is perfect and is only a 10 minute (or under) walk to and from Piccadilly station , and another really short walk into the city centre which makes it ideal if you like to be close to shopping areas . It also has small supermarkets practically next door and a kfc a few buildings down which we found really useful if we didn’t feel like eating out one night . We booked in a luxury room and the bed was huge and as was the room . It was clean and tidy , and the cleaners tidied up the room and changed the bins when we was out shopping . The building had a lift which is great if you have a lot of luggage - the staff also asked if we needed them to hold our luggage for us so we could shop around before we could check in , and after we checked out .

I stay in a lot of hotels and frankly, this one was one of the best for the price given it's central location. The room itself was a bit dated but the bed was really comfortable...not hard like most but not overly soft either. I slept really well. I was allocated Room 111 on the first floor. The room was quite large with lovely high ceilings and period features throughout. Amazingly, for the location, it was pretty quiet...bit of street noise but nothing over bearing. The bathroom was fine, with good water pressure and plenty of hot water in the shower. Another feature I loved is the windows opened to allow fresh air to enter the room...a feature not always available in many other establishments.

Room was nice, large, and quiet. The bathroom seemed quite new and had a great walk-in shower. Very comfy bed. The hotel is located very close to Piccadilly station. Breakfast was extra, but was very nice in an adjoining brasserie/bar. Overall it was good value.

It’s in a great location (literally minutes from Piccadilly station), easy to find, good cheap parking, very comfortable bed, good shower/bathroom, spacious room.
